Our farm is nestled in the fertile lands of Bardhaman, West Bengal – a region with a rich agricultural heritage. Here, we practice natural farming – working in harmony with nature rather than against it.

⚙️ Traditional Processing Methods – The Krishi Ashram Way
What truly sets us apart is how we process our products. While most modern food companies use high-speed industrial machines that strip away nutrients and flavour, we use traditional methods that have been trusted for centuries.
🪵 Dheki – Hand-Pounded Rice
Our rice is processed using the traditional Dheki method – a wooden foot-operated pestle and mortar used in rural Bengal for generations. Hand-pounding preserves the bran layer, natural oils, and nutrients that are lost in machine-milled rice. The result is rice that is more nutritious, more flavourful, and easier to digest.
🪨 Stone Chakki – Stone-Ground Grains & Flours
Our grains and flours are ground using traditional stone chakki (millstones). Unlike high-speed steel rollers that generate heat and destroy nutrients, stone grinding is slow and cool – preserving the natural fibre, vitamins, and minerals in every grain. The flour you get from us is whole, alive, and full of goodness.
🫙 Cold-Pressed Oils
Our oils are extracted using the cold-press (kachi ghani) method – no heat, no chemicals, no refining. Cold pressing retains the natural antioxidants, vitamins, and flavour of the seeds. Whether it's mustard, sesame, or coconut – our oils are as pure as nature intended.
